At Gulfood 2026 in Dubai, Great Southern Truffles showcased the depth and quality of Australia’s premium truffle industry to thousands of global buyers. As part of the strong Australian presence at the world’s largest food and beverage trade exhibition, we presented our range of authentic truffle products to distributors, chefs, and gourmet retailers from across the Gulf and international markets.
Held from 26–30 January, the event brought together more than 8,500 exhibitors and provided a valuable platform for Great Southern Truffles to highlight the distinctive flavour and provenance of Australian truffles. With nearly two decades of experience producing truffle products in Western Australia, the company demonstrated its commitment to quality, sustainability, and traceability.
Our Presence at Gulfood 2026
As a specialist in premium truffle products, Great Southern Truffles welcomed the opportunity to showcase its range at Gulfood 2026 in Dubai. The event provided an ideal platform to introduce our Australian truffle offerings to a global audience of chefs, distributors, and food industry professionals.
Our diverse product range — including Truffle & Spice, Black Truffle Aioli, Truffle Butter, Truffle Honey, Truffle-Infused Extra Virgin Olive Oil, Truffle Mustard, Truffle Salsa, Truffle Salt, Truffle Sauce, Whole Truffle, and Sliced Truffle — attracted strong interest from visitors seeking premium, high-quality ingredients.
Guests at our stand experienced firsthand the depth and complexity that truffles bring to culinary creations. Throughout the exhibition, we engaged with buyers, chefs, and importers from across the Middle East and international markets who were eager to explore the versatility and distinctive flavour of Australian truffle products.
Western Australia’s Strong Presence
Austrade hosted the Australia Lounge where Australian producers and international buyers engaged and explored partnerships. Over 100 Australian food and beverage exporters showcased clean, green, quality products at Gulfood in Dubai — one of the world’s biggest food industry trade events.
This year’s Australian delegation was one of the largest ever. Australia’s participation at Gulfood was strengthened by the Australia–United Arab Emirates Comprehensive Economic Partnership Agreement (CEPA), which has significantly improved market access for Australian food exporters by removing tariffs on most agricultural goods. This agreement is creating new opportunities for companies like Great Southern Truffles to expand their presence in the UAE and the wider Gulf region.
As global demand for premium, traceable ingredients continues to grow, Great Southern Truffles is well positioned to supply high-quality truffle products to chefs, food manufacturers, and specialty retailers seeking authentic Australian flavour. Gulfood provided the company with valuable connections and insights into regional market preferences, reinforcing the strong interest in Australian gourmet products across the Middle East.
