FOODEX Japan 2026, held at Tokyo Big Sight in Tokyo, Japan, once again brought together thousands of global food and beverage companies, reinforcing its position as one of Asia’s most influential international trade exhibitions. The event provided an outstanding platform for businesses to connect with buyers, explore emerging market trends, and introduce premium products to the Japanese and broader Asian markets.


For Great Southern Truffles, participation in FOODEX Japan 2026 was a valuable opportunity to present our premium Western Australian truffle products to an international audience of chefs, retailers, and food industry professionals. As a company dedicated to producing gourmet truffle-based products, the exhibition allowed us to showcase the depth, quality, and authenticity that define Australian truffles.


Following the success of last year’s event, we returned to FOODEX Japan, this time partnering with our distributor Blue Link, who hosted us on their stand alongside That’s Amore Cheese. Together, we showcased a collaboration that combined our premium truffle products with their exceptional artisanal cheeses to create a delicious truffle pizza. This partnership allowed visitors to experience firsthand how high-quality ingredients come together to deliver rich flavour and a memorable gourmet experience.

At the Blue Link stand, visitors were introduced to our diverse range of truffle products, including Black Truffle Juice, Black Truffle Sauce, Truffle & Spice, Black Truffle Aioli, Truffle Honey, Truffle-Infused Extra Virgin Olive Oil, Truffle Mustard, Truffle Salsa, Truffle Salt, Whole Truffle, and Sliced Truffle. These products captured strong interest from attendees who were eager to experience the rich aroma and distinctive flavour that truffles bring to culinary creations.


Visitors had the opportunity to sample our products and learn more about how truffles can elevate both traditional and modern dishes. Throughout the event, we engaged with chefs and food service professionals interested in incorporating high-quality Australian truffle products into the Japanese market. These conversations highlighted the growing appreciation in Japan for premium, traceable ingredients and gourmet flavours.

Strong Partnership with Blue Link in Japan


Our partnership with Blue Link at FOODEX Japan provided Great Southern Truffles an invaluable opportunity to strengthen our relationship with our Japanese distributor, build new partnerships, and better understand the evolving needs of the market. As an existing distributor of Great Southern Truffles products, Blue Link staff on the stand were able present and talk in-depth in Japanese about Great Southern Truffles Products with interested customers.

Japan remains one of Western Australia’s most important export destinations, with strong demand for premium food products such as our truffle products.
