Ravioli Mushroom with Truffle Sauce
Ingredients:
1 package of ready-made ravioli:
Recommended options: mushroom ravioli, ricotta and spinach, or pumpkin. Brands like Rana offer ricotta and spinach or mushroom ravioli, which are ideal for this dish.
3 tablespoons of Black Truffle Sauce from Great Southern Truffles
1 cup heavy cream
1 tablespoon butter
¼ cup grated Parmesan cheese
Salt and pepper to taste
Extra Parmesan for garnish (optional)
200g mushrooms (shiitake, cremini, or button), sliced
Instructions:
Cook the ravioli:
Cook the ravioli according to the package instructions (usually 3-4 minutes in salted boiling water until the ravioli float to the surface).
Sauté the mushrooms:
While the ravioli is cooking, heat a little olive oil or butter in a pan over medium heat. Add the sliced mushrooms and sauté for about 5-7 minutes, or until they are golden and tender. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Set aside.
Heat the truffle sauce:
In a saucepan, add the Black Truffle Sauce from Great Southern Truffles and the heavy cream. Heat over low heat, stirring until well combined and hot.
Finish the sauce:
Add the butter to the sauce and continue stirring until it melts completely, making the sauce creamier. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
Combine:
Drain the ravioli and add them to the saucepan with the truffle sauce. Gently toss to coat the ravioli evenly with the sauce.
Add the sautéed mushrooms to the ravioli and sauce, stirring gently to combine everything.
Serve:
Place the ravioli and mushroom mixture on a plate, garnish with grated Parmesan, and if desired, drizzle with extra truffle oil. Serve immediately and enjoy!
