Our Journey at THAIFEX – Anuga Asia 2025: Bringing the Taste of WA Truffles to Asia

We recently had the honour of participating in THAIFEX – Anuga Asia 2025, held in Bangkok, Thailand — one of the largest and most influential food and beverage trade shows in the Asian region. It was an enriching experience that highlighted the international potential of our truffle-based products.

This initiative is part of an ongoing effort to showcase the quality, innovation, and premium nature of WA-made products globally, particularly in vibrant and fast-growing markets like Southeast Asia.

Our presence at THAIFEX was made possible through the support of the Government of Western Australia (WA), which organised a collective stand to promote WA businesses to the Asian market. Being alongside other WA companies was a great opportunity to exchange experiences, build new connections, and strengthen the presence of our state as a leader in premium and sustainable food offerings.

During the event, we were honoured to receive an invitation from CP Group, one of Asia’s largest conglomerates, with major operations across agribusiness, food, and retail sectors.

The invitation included a visit to CP Group’s facilities, along with market research meetings to gain deeper insights into the Thai market and explore potential collaboration opportunities. This connection reflects the growing interest from Asian markets in high-quality, unique ingredients — like our Australian truffles — and opens exciting doors for strategic partnerships.

Looking Ahead

Our participation at THAIFEX marked an important step in our international journey. We had the chance to showcase our products to buyers, distributors, and potential partners from across Asia, demonstrating how Australian truffles can elevate a wide range of culinary and food industry applications.

Beyond commercial opportunities, the event also gave us valuable insights into consumer preferences, product trends, and innovations in flavour and packaging that are shaping the food scene in Asia.
