As fresh Black Winter Truffles are only available between June - September, during the fresh truffle season, we make sure some of our fresh Black Winter truffles are jarred as soon as they have been hunted and graded, they are preserved so that they can be made available outside the fresh truffle season. Preserved truffle doesn't have the same aroma as fresh truffle so we recommend you use it in conjunction with our other truffle products. For example, for enhanced flavour, use our sliced black winter truffle with our truffle oil or black truffle sauce.
