Serves: 2 to 4 people


Ingredients:

  • 4 lobster tails (about 200-250g each)

  • 4 tablespoons of Great Southern Truffles Black Truffle Butter

  • 1 garlic clove, minced

  • 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice

  • Optional: 1 teaspoon truffle oil

  • Optional: A few slices of fresh black truffle

  • 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

  • Salt and pepper to taste

  • Lemon wedges (for serving)

Instructions:

  1. Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 220°C (425°F) or set your grill to high.

  2. Prepare the Lobster: 

    • Using kitchen scissors, carefully cut the top of the lobster shells lengthwise, leaving the tail fan intact.

    • Gently pull the meat from the shell, keeping it attached at the end, and lay it on top of the shell.

    • Season the lobster meat with salt and pepper.

  3. Make the Truffle Butter Mixture: 

    • In a small bowl, combine the black truffle butter, minced garlic, and lemon juice.

    • Optional: Add a teaspoon of truffle oil for an extra flavor boost.

    • Mix until smooth.

  4. Butter the Lobster: 

    • Spread or brush the truffle butter mixture generously over the lobster meat.

    • Optional: Top with a few thin slices of fresh black truffle for a luxurious touch.

  5. Cook the Lobster: 

    • Place the lobster tails on a baking sheet, shell side down.

    • Roast in the preheated oven or grill for 10-12 minutes, or until the lobster meat is opaque and cooked through. The time may vary slightly depending on the size of the lobster tails.

  6. Garnish and Serve: 

    • Once cooked, remove the lobster tails from the oven and sprinkle with fresh parsley.

    • Serve immediately with lemon wedges on the side for extra freshness.
